Lead Chef or Sous Chef
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Working Events
- Work as part of a team of chef's hosting culinary team building events throughout the Bay Area.
- Maintain a positive attitude and great customer service focus.
- Shifts are minimum 6 hours at venues throughout the Bay Area.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years’ experience as a culinary professional preferred
- Experience as a cooking class instructor preferred
- Able to stand for 5 to 9 hours.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Well-versed in proper food handling protocol and maintains a current manager level food handling certificate.
- Comfortable with event management; catering or kitchen management experience ideal.
- Able to work in a collaborative environment with a broad range of individuals and skill sets.
- Have a reliable form of transportation with a valid US driver’s license.
