Amorina Cucina Rustica is a beloved, casual Italian restaurant located in the heart of Prospect Heights on Vanderbilt Avenue in Brooklyn.

For 14 years we have been serving authentic, Roman-style thin crust pizza and hearty pasta dishes—all sourced from local and organic ingredients. The menu showcases our dedication to Italian tradition and to the season, with carefully selected weekly “Will to Live” pizza, pastas and salads. We maintain a close relationship with a local farm coop to obtain fresh produce, upon which we base our weekly specials. Our menu choices are driven by balancing the classic Italian flavor palate, using and showcasing the seasonal elements, with a desire to constantly challenge ourselves and our customers with fresh profiles. Job description

We seek someone with experience as a line cook or baker, with an interest in pizza, and fresh, creative, Italian-based flavors, to make our artisanal pizza, desserts and specials. Must be reliable, friendly and interested in a long-term position. Applicant must be efficient, organized, able to work independently, as well as a team player and to present yourself well in an open kitchen.

We require someone with good general cooking skills, who is interested in creating fresh, creative, Italian-based flavors.

Must have knife skills, baking experience, or sincere interest in learning to handle pizza dough and producing excellent, unpretentious Italian food, and yeast free dough.

Must be able to lead a small team and to interface with owner, executive chef to be inventive, creative, efficient and economical with menu choices and methods. 

We are a small kitchen, with friend vibe and good environment. Looking for team player who can lead.
