We started Joe Coffee because we wanted a welcoming place where we, and hopefully others, would want to work. We are passionate about coffee and hospitality. We opened our first cafe on the corner of Waverly and Gay Streets in New York and from there opened other retail shops, including Philadelphia, and expanded into catering and wholesale.

Job description
Joe Coffee is looking for a dedicated Roasting and Coffee Production Assistant at our roasting facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This is a part time position, two days per week. Pack it, deliver it, work with a great team!
As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for labeling and packaging roasted coffee, packing orders and driving the product on our delivery routes.
Duties include but are not limited to the operation of packaging equipment, scales, and heat sealers; ability to use production reports and invoices for detailed fulfillment and packing of orders
Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record . Knowledge of NYC roads is preferred. A good team player. Flexible scheduling is preferred and should be available to work weekends and holidays. Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.
