We started Joe Coffee because we wanted a welcoming place where we, and hopefully others, would want to work. We are passionate about coffee and hospitality. We opened our first cafe on the corner of Waverly and Gay Streets in New York and from there opened other retail shops, including Philadelphia, and expanded into catering and wholesale.
Since 2013, we roast 100% of our own single-origin and blended offerings. Whether in the roastery or in one of our various cafes, we strive to affect our deeply rooted core value proposition: the desire to build, maintain and strengthen community at every level, from producer to customer.
Job description
Joe Coffee is looking for friendly and organized coffee enthusiasts who want to deliver a hospitable experience on our Governors Island location. This location will offer drip coffee, iced coffee and ice cream. Barista experience is ideal but not required. Prior experience with ringing up orders, serving beverages and offering fast and friendly customer service are a must. This position is tip eligible. NY Food Protection License.
