We are an independent cheese shop in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. We feature a selection of cut-to-order artisan cheese, charcuterie, and artisan products as well as a busy prepared foods section (grilled cheese, platters, etc.)  We are committed to showcasing the products and makers we love and passing that passion on to our customers.

 

Job description We are seeking a cheesemonger (30-40 hours per week) with room to grow  and more hours during the holiday season.  YOU must have availability during the holiday season and Flexible schedule is appreciated. 

We are a small but cohesive team working closely together on a daily basis - you must be motivated, able to multi-task and do a variety of roles, able to work independently, from making grilled cheese, selling/wrapping and cutting cheese, to assisting with and receiving deliveries. Most importantly, you must be capable and enjoy interacting with customers as our cheese counter and customer service are the most important aspect of our shop. We strive to make people happy and offer a pleasant, professional but not pretentious experience to every customer that comes to our counter. We look forward to having you join our team!
