Internship description Scope of Work
The Bakery Operations Intern will assist the Operations Manager as they oversee the operations of the commissary.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
● Printing important daily materials such as special orders, and invoices.
● Assisting with special projects to improve efficiency and workflow.
● Assisting with data entry in Flexibake to manage ingredient pricing, inventory, recipes and costing, and production scheduling
● Learning about budgeting, ingredients ordering, manufacturing and more.
● Learning about food safety
● Learning about the daily operations of a bakery

Requirements:
● Great interpersonal skills, with experience in training and coaching staff
● Exceptional administrative and organizational skills
● Belief in using business as a tool for progressive social change
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent handle on the English language
● Excellent communication, organization, and systems skills
● Flexibility in scheduling
● Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time Compensation this position is : college credit
