Rosemont began as one cozy store on Brighton Avenue. In the early days, we were five people. Today we employ more than 100 people. We have a production bakery and kitchen, six markets in neighborhoods in Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Falmouth, and Yarmouth as well as a warehouse which distributes to our markets. We also have a delivery service to the islands of Casco Bay.

Rosemont is committed to creating community around local foods. We are looking for a like-minded individual who is drawn to those connections to manage our Warehouse hub at our newly built facility.

Our Warehouse Logistics Manager holds a vital position in our management team. He or she is responsible for the efficient receiving, warehousing and distribution of Rosemont’s high quality local and away products. This person interacts directly with our vast network of local growers and makers as well as trains and manages our staff of warehouse workers and delivery drivers. The Warehouse Logistics Manager works closely with our Headquarters Facility and Logistics Manager to ensure the happiness of our team and that Rosemont’s strategic and operational goals are met.

The day to day challenges of running a food business requires our Managers to be flexible, level-headed and to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Warehouse Manager must model and embody Rosemont’s values and culture for the Warehouse Team. A passion for local foods and advancing the efficiency of our local food network is a must.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Shipping, receiving and product management both physically and through our point of sale system
  • Train, schedule and mentor Warehouse employees
  • Manage maintenance of Rosemont’s delivery fleet
  • Collaborate with the Headquarters Facility and Logistics Manager and Produce Buyer to maintain efficiencies through seasonal changes
