We’re looking for an effective, enthusiastic Partnerships Manager to help increase our market share aka convince coffee shop owners to join the CUPS community. You need to be fearless, driven and passionate about specialty coffee and helping small business.

 
Job description

We’re building a task force who will  help launch CUPS in LA and beyond! (If there is coffee you may travel there!). Partnership Managers  need to be fearless, comfortable walking into small coffee businesses and not afraid of regional travel. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Prospect for potential coffee shop partners through internet research, social media, cold calling, cold walk ins, and real world networking

Own all stages of the sales process

Connect with coffee shop owners online, on the phone and in person. Owners are tough to catch so you'll have to be creative, charming and persistent

Correspond and have meetings with business owners/managers in order to sign up more CUPS locations - understand SBS needs so that your pitch becomes a solution for their shop 

Hand hold coffee shops during the set up process while transitioning the relationship to Account Management

Serve as an expert on CUPS and the specialty coffee industry
 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:

An excellent communicator and “people person”

 Is easy going and able to adjust to change quickly 

Available to travel to different coffee shop locations throughout the market 

 Results-oriented, proactive, self-motivated and work well in a team environment. We believe in working hard AND smart. 

A true team player with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude. 

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Willing and interested in short-term professional travel

 Thorough and good at “closing” deals
