AvroKO, the award-winning interior design firm and hospitality group, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator  to join our small-yet-mighty Communications team that oversees marketing, PR, and social media for the company’s global entities - five design and concept studios, four owned-and-operated restaurants and bar brands, as well as several brand expansions internationally. This is a global position that will report to the Global Marketing Director supporting the company’s overall marketing strategies, activities and growth.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Serve as main support role for the AvroKO PR / Marketing team assisting on all projects across the company's global entities [AvroKO World] - AvroKO's 4 global studios (NYC – HQ, London, San Francisco, Bangkok); Brand Bureau, AvroKO’s sister studio focused on branding, graphic design as well as interiors; and AvroKO Hospitality Group (Saxon + Parole, Ghost Donkey, GENUINE Liquorette, The Poni Room, and all their global branches)
  • Work with the Global Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to oversee day-to-day digital marketing tasks including but not limited to social media strategy, community management, influencer marketing, website maintenance, etc. (60% of the role)
  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of AvroKO World marketing tasks based on the company’s overall goals and most pressing projects including but not limited to drafting and sending out eblasts, compiling awards submissions, tracking and sending out press hits, drafting marketing collateral content, etc. (30% of the role)
  • Handling administrative tasks for the PR / Marketing department which may include scheduling meetings and phone calls, producing agendas and recaps, etc. (10% of the role)

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the fields of social media management, digital marketing, influencer marketing, or the similar
  • Excellent multi-tasker and masterfully resourceful – able to navigate many projects at once
  • Proven social media skills managing several different platforms for several different clients
  • Proven work experience with writing and being a creative and critical thinker
  • Detail-orientated and organized
  • Interpersonal skills able to liaise with colleagues and clients at every level
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Top-notch research skills
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • A passion for hospitality
Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
