Company description Rosemont began as one cozy store on Brighton Avenue. In the early days, we were five people. Today we employ more than 95 people. We have a production bakery and kitchen, six markets in neighborhoods in Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Yarmouth, Falmouth and a warehouse which distributes to our markets. We also have a delivery service to the islands of Casco Bay.

Rosemont is growing. We opened our sixth store in February and just moved into our new beautiful bakery space at 832 Stevens Ave.  We need a few team players to help fill out our staff. Previous professional baking is helpful but if you have solid kitchen skills and want to learn the craft then that works too.

All bakery staff members have the opportunity to learn every station and collaborate on new products. 

Our bakery has lots of room and a beautiful new French oven. It's a hard working atmosphere where you have to be able to lift 50 pounds but we try to keep it light and enjoyable. Our new baking shift starts at 3am. Plenty of coffee is provided. 

Rosemont offers health insurance to full-time workers after 90 days of full-time employment. Paid vacation time is available after the first year of full-time employment. All employees receive a 20% discount at our stores


Some job requirements include:

• At least one year experience in food service
• Ability to lift 50 pound cartons or bags
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Some weekend availability
• Strong communication skills
• A positive attitude & an interest in people and food
