Company description Dominique Crenn, the chef/owner of San Francisco restaurants Petit Crenn, one Michelin starred Bar Crenn, and three Michelin starred Atelier Crenn, focuses on cuisine as a craft and the community as an inspiration. Crenn was awarded World’s Best Female Chef in 2016 by San Pellegrino’s 50 Best, Best Chef: West in May of 2018 by the James Beard Foundation, and four stars from SF Chronicle in June 2018. Job description This is a full-time position, which reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Two years of experience requested.

Qualities Required:
*Adaptability, creative problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
*Must be friendly, warm and professional.
*Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.
*Must have guest service experience, be well spoken, and have excellent written communication skills in English.
*Must have computer and Microsoft Office proficiency, plus Google suite products.
*Must have minimum food knowledge.

Main Roles:
*The reservationist is essentially the main point of contact between guests and our team, front and back of house. Main categories of responsibilities are reservationist work, guest services, administrative duties, events coordination, social media management, and inventory/supplies management.

This is a position, which offers exciting opportunities to learn several facets of the restaurant from the front to back end. Multitasking and time management skills are a must for this position.

Responsibilities:
*Answer the phone with our greeting policy from beginning until the end of the shift; Respond to basic questions about restaurant information and policies.
*Offer professional guest service by assisting guests with Tock, our reservation system and other special requests.
*Maintain/Monitor the reservation book and the email inbox. Check the voicemail multiple times per day.
*Reconfirm dietary restrictions with guest 48h prior to reservation and making sure to collect any other necessary information.
*Help guests purchase and redeem gift certificates when needed. Handle special gift and prepayment requests. 
*Act as the point of communication between the Chef and the General Manager on any guest details.
*Be ready to run a service meeting on a daily basis, with all the information required.
*Update and print menus, chits, dietary matrix, and any other materials needed for service
*Buy flowers weekly for dining room.
*Maintain non-food/wine supplies inventory, including cookbooks for retail; Update purchase log and organize by code.
*Manage TripleSeat event leads and act as primary point of contact between clients and General Manager and Chef; Manage event from start to finish.
*Maintain/Organize company GSuite Drive as well as physical employee files and general office organization.
*Onboard new employees; walk them through all paperwork and policies; Take care of J1 paperwork/contracts.
*Create a positive work environment; Gift employees on their birthdays/anniversaries; Help find creative ways to enhance employee experience.
*Maintain website by keeping menus, policies, events, and photos up to date.
*Maintain an active social media presence; Post and create stories on Instagram regularly Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
