  • Date Posted August 15, 2019
  • Location Seattle, WA
  • Category Agriculture / Nonprofit
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

Tilth Alliance believes everyone deserves to eat well, every day. For 40 years we’ve created a better food culture in Washington by teaching people to grow, prepare, and eat food with a clear understanding of the interconnection of food, health, community, and the earth’s sustainability. Using fields, farms and kitchens as classrooms to teach much more than agriculture, we transform lives and the communities we serve.

The Coordinator will support that work by managing user posts on wafarmlink.org, contacting landowners and land seekers to assist with land matching, and facilitating a new business training program for beginning farmers. The Coordinator will also attend regional working groups of agricultural professionals to report on program activities and explore partnerships with other organizations. Other job duties include collecting and analyzing survey responses from event participants, conducting research on key issues related to Washington agriculture, and entering data into Salesforce. Approximately 80% of this position will take place in an office setting, and 20% will require travel to various locations around Washington.
