Home Place Pastures is seeking a CSA and Retail Fulfillment Manager. Schedule will be Monday through Friday and will include the following responsibilities: 

• Overseeing order packing to ensure accuracy 
• Keeping fresh and frozen product inventory organized 
• Learning the craft of whole animal butchery for beef, pork, and lamb 
• Preparing the butcher case each week
•  Organize and grow retail store inventory
• Assist customers in retail store and manage pick-up retail orders
• Manage online ordering platform and meat subscription service, including promotional activities and events
• Oversee packing and shipping of all subscription boxes and online orders

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Some type of post highschool education
• College degree strongly preferred 

Hours:

• Monday through Friday: 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch

Considerations

This will be a dynamic role involving multiple skill sets.  Applicants must be able to lift up to 90 lbs, work on their feet all day, master knowledge of butchery and cuts to effectively service customers.  This position provides a great learning opportunity and a chance to become a valued team member of a growing local business. Interest in local food systems and sustainable agriculture is a plus.

Compensation:

Based on experience- will be discussed during interview

*If employee elects to join company health care plan, HPP pays 20 percent of monthly cost.  This percentage increases based on performance and time worked. Employee is responsible for the remaining balance.
