Laurie & Sons is an award-winning chocolate shop located in East Harlem, New York.  We hand craft small batch chocolates, from bonbons to toffee, for our retail and wholesale customers.  We give back, supporting the good works of Oxfam, Villages in Partnership and Hot Bread Kitchen.

We are a small, upbeat team that never stops yabbering about the next bonbon that we just have to make.   We are seeking an upbeat chocolatier to produce hand-painted, molded chocolate bonbons and other confections part time.

Responsibilities include:
• Production of chocolates
• Keeping track of inventory
• Prepping & cleaning stations
• Assisting at events, trade shows

Experience:
• Chocolate or pastry experience is a plus
• Food handlers license helpful

Skills:
• Strong communication skills
• Very organized and take direction well
• Work cleanly, quickly and are detail oriented
• Self motivated and independent
• Reliable and punctual

Physical Demands
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
• Exposure to hot and cold kitchen temperatures
