Owl’s Brew was founded by two tea drinking boozers. We craft tea-powered boozy beverages. In our journey to a better-for-you sipper, we’ve learned that you can have it all: organic & interesting ingredients, delicious flavors, and a nice amount of spike.
Tea sommelier Jennie Ripps partnered up with Maria Littlefield and launched Owl’s Brew Cocktail Mixers in 2013. We are currently launching Owl’s Brew Boozy Tea, a spiked and sparkling freshly brewed tea. Owl’s Brew can be found nationwide at retailers such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Stop & Shop, Harris-Teeter and many more!
Internship description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work with co-founder Maria Littlefield on social media strategy and execution
-Develop regular video & photographic content for social media and website
-Attend events and contribute to social media in real time
-Brand ambassador at local NYC events (happy hours, dinner parties, tasting events, etc.)
-Assist our HQ and operations team with in-office tasks, shipping and order fulfillment
NOTE: The marketing intern must be able to work from our Manhattan office located in the Flatiron district, and well as various off-site locations in the NYC area.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES CHECKLIST:
- Currently attending a college or university
- Studying photography, marketing, social media, or the arts/design
- Love for food, beverage, and wellness
-Thoughtful, detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking
-Photography and video editing skills with a focus on social media
-Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign and basic comfort working in web-based programs
-Social media experience!
