University of Maine Cooperative Extension invites applications for a full-time (40-hour per week) fiscal-year, soft-money, federally funded Education and Training Coordinator for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). This position will be based in the Androscoggin/Sagadahoc County office in Lisbon Falls, ME. The position will assist the State EFENP Coordinator in planning, development, and implementation of UMaine Extension’s EFNEP, and assessing, planning and developing orientation and ongoing training for UMaine EFNEP. The position will be responsible for creating educational materials and training programs for new and current EFNEP professional and paraprofessional staff; contribute to curriculum development and related programmatic training, interpretation, and implementation of federal guidance, and creation and use of marketing tools and program materials. The position will also supervise 6-10 Community Nutrition Education Assistants (CEAs) who directly deliver EFNEP in southern Maine. The typical hiring range for this position is $43,000-$45,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
