Discreetly located in a historic warehouse at the intersection of East Williamsburg and Bushwick with more than 8,000 square feet of thoughtfully-designed outdoor space, 99 Scott can accommodate nearly 2,000 guests. We are seeking creative, thoughtful and hardworking people with an interest in events and cultural programming to join our team.

Job description Event Sales Assistant
We are seeking a thoughtful, creative and driven event sales assistant to join our team. Sales experience and an interest in both event production and cultural programming are desired. The sales assistant will be focused on supporting the sales director in activating the space and driving event revenue at 99 Scott. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support sales and marketing to meet annual revenue goals
  • Develop and manage social media accounts
  • Pursue marketing, PR, and networking opportunities
  • Help sales director to finalize sales and manage events on site
  • Timely response and support in management of all event inquiries
  • Help to guide clients from inquiry to booking through production of events
  • Communicate with clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face interaction
  • Responsible for effective contract and production management
  • Interface with outside event planners and other event vendors as needed
  • Help to manage and maintain events calendar as well as overall communication of event details to venue coordinator and operations manager
  • Support with event billing and administration
  • Work in support of production and operations in the venue

 

The Ideal Candidate 

  • Experience in event specific sales preferred
  • Must have the desire to drive business forward and understand its many moving parts
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and works well in team environment
  • Interest in NYC restaurant culture/food and wine a plus
  • Familiarity with Fashion and Photoshoot production a plus
  • Experience in Wedding Event sales, planning and production a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be organized with a high standard for quality and attention to detail
  • Flexibility with work schedule for this full-time position
  • Fluency with all Google platforms, as well as TripleSeat

 

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
