Responsibilities
- Responsible & in charge of taking ownership of all store procedures
- Responsible & in charge of daily/weekly store checklists being completed
- Responsible & in charge of being a primary customer service point of contact
- Responsible & in charge of being an authority figure and setting daily staff priorities
- Responsible & in charge of in-store staff hiring and training
- Responsible & in charge of store equipment preventative maintenance and organization
- Responsible & in charge of the store’s aesthetic coherence and promotional deals
- Responsible & in charge of maintaining and overseeing store supply inventory for all departments
Requirements
- Must have experience receiving & processing specialty grocery in a retail setting
- Must have previous management experience in a grocery or high-end food service setting
- Must have a desire to uphold the principles of sustainable food and farming
- Must have the ability to be a team player and leap in and help with all tasks
- Must have the ability to adjust quickly to a rapidly growing start-up business
- Must have the ability to lift 50+ lbs and spend 8+ hours standing
- Must have open availability
- Must have ServSafe certification or be willing to take the class if hired
COMPENSATION: $50k - based on experience
