Job description

Project Manager is responsible for working with Regen Future Capital and Kiss the Ground to complete a pilot of Regen Loop. This project is creating a new investment model using profits from clean energy to support regeneration and carbon sequestration initiatives in agriculture. It is basically a soft loan program that would subsidize the cost that a farmer incurs to transition to regenerative agriculture. The pilot is set to launch late 2019, early 2020.
 

The project manager will be responsible for:

    • Writing and developing
      • the documentation presenting the Regen Loop scheme to famers
    • the on-boarding process and documentation for farmers
    • the monitoring process: practices implementation, soil testing, ...
  • work with Kiss the Ground team to leverage contacts and networks to develop the program
  • coordination of all different steps for farmer: scholarships, trainings, soil testing, and loans
  • monitor farmer relationships, regular visits to farms, collect feedback to improve process
  • be the representative of RFC for this project. 


Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working with farmers
  • Must have strong writing skills and communications skills
  • Must be good at working independently and prioritizing tasks
  • Ideally has an understanding of regenerative agriculture and soil health
