Job description

Central to our mission at Food Crush is the desire to provide, at all of our locations, an unparalleled hospitality and culinary experience for each and every one of our guests.

 

Prospective Floor Managers should possess this same desire to provide an exceptional hospitality experience for our guests, in addition to an enthusiasm to continuously learn, expand, and further develop those skill sets necessary to providing Food Crush’s particular brand of best-in-class service.

 

Our Floor Managers are vital to Food Crush’s success in delivering an unmatched hospitality experience to our guests. You are the steward of all of our standards of service and best practices, and one who will lead our service teams in their maintenance and implementation. As such, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

 

∙Monitor and direct all service staff in maintaining operational and hospitality excellence.

∙Conduct all service staff in operating with maximum effort.

∙Attend to all of our guests and ensure that all guests receive only the very best in service and hospitality.

∙Organize and implement the full, daily set-up and breakdown of each service.

∙Liaise between the service teams and kitchen teams to ensure effective communication and positive interactions during service periods.

∙Assist all service teams when necessary.

∙Develop, implement, manage, and maintain scheduling for all levels of FOH staff.

∙Stay abreast of and maintain compliance with all HR standards, and following correct disciplinary procedures when necessary.

∙Complete administrative tasks with accuracy and punctuality.

∙Train and provide leadership to all service staff.

∙Work with leadership in supervising FOH operations to continuously refine and focus operational systems so our standards of hospitality are always functioning at the highest possible level.

 

Minimum requirements for our Floor Managers are as follows:

∙3 years of management/operational experience in a casual fine dining or fine dining setting.

∙The ability to organize full sequence event and project management; planning, organization, implementation, and follow up.

∙Decisive decision making skills.

∙The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication skills in addition to the ability to thoughtfully listen to others.

∙Proficiency with restaurant specific apps and technologies as well as general use computer applications and technologies (Microsoft Office/Adobe Suite/POS Systems/Social Media).

∙First-rate knowledge of restaurant facilities, dining room, and hospitality operations.

∙Strong capability to both lead by example and through direct administration and delegation of policy and procedure.
