Company description When we [Lydia & Charlie] came to Fannin county , it seemed that driving to Blue Ridge was the only option for quality food and a  vibrant, social scene.

In September 2019, Lydia & Charlie took over the Morganton Grill in an attempt to revitalize the local community and provide another option for quality hometown cooking

Yet, we faced a dilemma - how much do we shift the existing menu and atmosphere to be more aligned with our vision of locally inspired food with global undertones while maintaining our loyalty to regional cuisine.

We wish to proactively engaged members of our staff and surrounding community to help identify local vendors and provide input on our food. Slowly, through the design of imaginative daily meal specials , contact with local farmers and expanded breakfast offerings, we seek to enhance the quality and broadened the appeal of our food.

To this end, We harness the transformative power of food and space to unite and support our community.

Are you a creative, experienced Baker looking to build a Baking program to delight the community with your tantalizing loafs?

Help us  design and execute amazing bread recipes ; we even have two sourdough starters and we can create more...

You are passionate about baking and bread , as well as the techniques that support excellence, you keep a clean workstation and help ensure the baking area is well-stocked . You help us test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls. You keep good records on deliveries, inventory, and production levels. You value working independently and are good with numbers and the attention to detail needed to produce excellent bread consistently and efficiently.
