In Addition we use two natural gas-powered Micro-Turbines (some of the cleanest-burning engines on earth) to keep our wines and sakés at the perfect temperature for you. Any heat the generators produce is recycled into even more energy, so that nothing is wasted. We are proud to be a green wine store when it comes to energy use as well. Job description Astor Wines & Spirits, one of NYC's leading wine and spirits retailers is seeking a dynamic individual to join our sales team as a Wine & Spirits Consultant.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in an industry-related sales role (retail, restaurant, or other) and exhibit exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to work closely with other members of the team is essential, as is attention to detail.
A broad knowledge of wine and spirits is required to fulfill this role.
In addition to hourly pay, we offer sales and performance-based commissions, health benefits, accrued vacation, a 401(k) and the opportunity for growth within our company.
The position also offers you a singular opportunity to learn and grow within the industry through extensive hands-on education and the chance to meet some of the foremost talents in the wine and spirits world.
- This is a Full-Time position
- You must be available for day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
