Company description Stitchdown Farm is a diversified flower farm & floristry, located on the ancestral, unceded territory of the Abenaki people, in the foothills of the Green Mountains. We grow specialty cut flowers on 2 acres for retail, wholesale and event design. We are also a family-scale homestead, raising vegetables, pork, chickens, maple syrup and cider. Stitchdown is a multifarious place that is driven by flowers.

Must have 2+ years farm experience, preference for those with flower growing experience.

Applicant must be comfortable managing a small farm crew, making lists, setting daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and seeing that they get done. The main role of field manager will be seeing to the starting, transplanting, growing, watering, trellising, harvesting and post harvest management of flowers for sale, deliveries and food production for farmstead. An interest in cut flower production and flower arranging would be great. Additional roles may include pig, horse and chicken chores, moving fences, mowing, pruning, tool maintenance, and small building projects.
