Weavers Way Co-op is looking for an energetic, experienced, seasoned individual to work in our Meat Department in our Ambler store as a Meat Cutter.
This position requires a focus on customer service as the top priority. Customer requests/complaints are to be addressed quickly and effectively. Making it right is what counts. Along with customer service, and cutting meat, responsibilities include packing, wrapping, stocking the meat cases, and cleaning. This is a full-service meat case.

Founded in 1973, Weavers Way is a community-owned natural grocer with stores in Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, and Ambler. In addition to our stores, we run a market farm in the Awbury Arboretum, a CSA farm partnership with Saul High School, our own community newspaper, and a non-profit which emphasizes food and nutrition education. We operate based on a triple bottom line philosophy that considers our community and environment in all of our decisions.

Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working in a meat department or butchery.
- Knowledge of different types of meat and cuts.
- Able to lift 40 lbs. or more.
- This is an hourly, part time position. Our ideal candidate would have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work weekends is required.
