Job description

Hu is a high-growth, wellness-focused organization seeking an Innovation & Special Projects (ISP) Manager to drive Hu’s innovation and other internal projects to successful commercialization. The ISP Manager will sit within Hu’s Operations team and will work cross functionally with marketing, finance and sales teams to ensure Hu continues to trend-set with innovation as a leader in the clean label CPG space.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively project manage all new Hu products from concept to market placement
  • Perform market research, vendor, material and ingredient identification
  • Implement and drive a stage gate process for all innovation projects
  • Guide cross-functional collaboration across all Hu departments
  • Manage and implement internal optimization projects that strengthen team and company performance, uphold core values, improve productivity and reduce complexity
 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in project management with a strong preference towards CPG industry
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Skilled in MS Excel and data analysis, Asana, Slack, Zoom and common project management software
