Job descriptionHu is a high-growth, wellness-focused organization looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will maintain compliance and ensure quality of production, packaging, and handling of existing and pipeline Hu products with a drive for continuous improvement. The Quality Manager will sit within Hu’s Operations team and will work cross functionally with other departments and 3rd party manufacturers, service providers, suppliers, and certifiers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Domestic and international label and ingredient compliance
- Develop and improve SOPs and spec sheets for all products with all 3PMs and 3PLs seeking continuous quality improvement
- Ensure third party certification compliance across all certificates and SKUs
- Ensure all Hu packaging is compliant with all Hu certifications
- Vet potential new vendors and ingredients for food safety and production compliance
- Manage and keep current Hu certification, food safety, SOP, document database
- Liaise with customer service to log and respond to quality issues on a timely basis
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience or degree equivalent in areas such as food safety, quality management in manufacturing, certification and compliance management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to travel to manufacturing and warehouse facilities regularly
- Skilled in MS Excel, data analysis, related software systems, GS1 a plus
