Our rapidly growing company is seeking a full-time Sales Representative for our team. Cultured Kombucha Co is looking for a quick-thinking, strategic, and relationship- building team member to build our growing distribution and sales market. Cultured Kombucha Co. is a fast-paced, ambitious company poised for significant growth. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with a strong attention to detail and the communication skills required to grow our diversifying revenue stream. This position will be responsible for business development, territory expansion, daily account visits, and relationship building with clients. Our sales representative is also responsible for coordinating growth strategically with production facility, daily troubleshooting, and merchandising.

Success in this role means taking an organized and analytical approach to our current sales strategy while creating efficient and scalable systems for growth. Success is documented in this role by revenue increase, account expansion, and territory development. This position plays an active role in daily operations and is also expected to contribute their expertise to improving processes, maximizing efficiency, and promoting a culture of health and wellness. A strong knack for closing sales, creative collaborations, clear communication, and a constant desire to learn is key.


Position Summary:
The Sales Representative is dedicated to sales, education, company growth, and marketing of handcrafted kombucha. Our goal is to introduce a lifestyle of health and wellness to our end clients and retail partners. The primary function is to develop sales and increase sales volume to grow Cultured Kombucha Co. products in the Food and Beverage market.

Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Requires strong analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral & written). Show high self-motivation through target driven sales and time management. Must demonstrate advanced level proficiency within Microsoft Office, Zoho, and cell phone technologies. Requires lifting and carrying of 40+ lbs. of product on a regular basis and extensive travel throughout assigned territory.

Daily/Position Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
· Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
· Adjusting content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
· Connect customers with appropriate distribution partners and networks.
· Work directly with distribution partners and customers to create a fluid relationship.
· Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of accounts.
· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
· Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Continuously improve through feedback
· Utilize sample inventories to promote product sales
· Participate in 5 company outreach events monthly.
· Plan and execute 5 in-store demonstrations per month.
· Exhibit discipline and innovativeness to meet assigned monthly quotas
· Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and trade events to maintain knowledge of product/suppliers
· Maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week in the winter and 50 hours per week in summer.
· Conduct in-store tastings and staff trainings for accounts to promote product sales.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Business or Management, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years (5+) or more years’ experience within the sales, marketing or supplier community; previous food and beverage sales experience necessary.

Compensation:
Base Salary + Commission + Equity 

Job Type:
Full-time Salary: $25,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year + Equity after 18 months. (Base + Commission)
