RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• The General Manager will be in charge of all daily running of the business, specifically supporting all staff in the front and back of house, and cultivating a positive culture and environment.

• We are looking for someone with experience in service, specialty fast-casual and hospitality management who has the drive to open a our flagship location.

• Ensure all staff comply with health regulations and have and maintain their Food Handler’s Certification.

• 5+ years experience in a supervisory role, with excellent communication and organization skills.

• Find new ways to promote the restaurant through trade and community events.

• Accountable for daily sales tally, general management of books.

• Implement and follow advanced cash handling policies and procedures

• Scheduling, payroll, adhering to the New York Department of Health requirements, ordering and staff training, as well as working with Operations and Ownership to continuously improve and better the company and staff.

• Monitor food and labor costs.

• Delegate responsibilities and tasks to the Kitchen Manager and other employees

• Work to create a great environment for our team and aim to support each staff member.

• We provide a competitive salary package, health insurance as well as 1 week paid leave per annum. We also reward met targets and goals with quarterly reviews with above industry standard bonus.

• We are searching for someone available to work 6 days a week (including weekends).

• Focus on building sales and forecasting future performance.

• Applicants must have experience in hospitality, management and ideally specialty fast-casual.

• Candidates must share World’s Wurst’s commitments to quality, safety, business ethics, and continuous innovation.

SALARY - $50,000

Full-time employees enjoy paid breaks, holiday closures and become eligible for health benefits on the first 1st after 30 days of employment (For instance, if your start date is May 15th, you’d be eligible for benefits July 1st).
