Company description Located in the historic Main St. on Vinalhaven island Maine, Creelman Farm Store is carefully curated store where we sell fresh goat cheese and produce from our farm, premium charcuterie, cheeses from some of the best cheesemakers in the US, local goods, and beautiful useful tools for home and kitchen.  We focus on local, quality, durable goods minimally packaged.   Job description Spend the summer on a beautiful island off the coast of Maine working in a fun farm to store business.  Creelman Farm Store is open April through January, but we are primarily looking for someone for the months of July and August.  You'll have the opportunity to meet lots of interesting people and learn a lot.  A love of cheese is a must and food safety training is a bonus.  


Duties will include running our square register, cleaning store, restocking, cutting cheese and prepping certain foods, as well as interacting with the public and helping customers in their choices.


An ability transition from an occasionally  fast paced environment to slower while keeping on task and maintaining a calm friendly demeanor is a must.
