Join an iconic brand in the celebration of its 100th year as the Director of Sales of Hemstroughts – the original maker of Half Moon cookies! Throughout the year, the company will be launching some of its older recipes from its original recipe book that is really a relic worth seeing. Already a small store was opened in the middle of Utica with plans for a grander designed store and more with related businesses. The company’s wholesale business has a solid foundation with major chains along with many independent merchants and distributors. Management’s focus is now on business development with major chains and larger food service outlets and more to bring Hemstroughts products into the great educational and healthcare institutions in New York. 

 

The candidate for this once in a lifetime opportunity must be an experienced sales and marketing person with trade ties and closing capabilities. The company’s culture is one of entrepreneurial self-starters that wear ‘many hats’ and have large company experience too. They need a leader for Sales that will be supported by an inside sales person, a well-known brand and a terrific team of dedicated associates. 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• 10-15 years selling to food service and retail distributors
• Experience with food products is a must
• Relationship building
