Job description Cavallo Point Lodge is seeking an experienced Beverage Manager to work at its acclaimed restaurant, Murray Circle, one of the Bay Area's top culinary destinations. The restaurant features refined modern Northern California cuisine and a Wine Spectator Grand Award winning wine cellar.  Anchored to its Marin roots, Murray Circle carefully combines the freshest local ingredients to prepare its innovative menus.  Add stunning Golden Gate Bridge views, and you will see why a meal here is an inspired experience. 

Reporting to the Director of Outlets, the Beverage Manager schedules and trains staff, coordinates special functions, maintains reservation system and oversees the Micros POS system. The Beverage Manager is a key member of the Murray Circle management team, helping to ensure that guest focus is a top priority and team initiatives and objectives are implemented and achieved. This is a wonderful opportunity for a team player with passion for food, drink and hospitality!
 


Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 5 years of fine dining experience as a manager
  • Familiar knowledge of restaurant P & L reporting
  • Beverage (Wine, Beer, Liquor) knowledgeable
  • Proficient in POS knowledge (Micros preferable)
  • Adequate computer skills (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
