Company description We are a sustainable, regenerative style farm on the Mid-Coast of Maine located on the Pemaquid Peninsula. Our primary focus is raising pigs fed on organic grain, rotating them from paddock to paddock in the woods, allowing natural forage to play an important role in their diets. However we are quite diversified, also raising organically fed chickens, sheep, turkeys, and laying hens. We supply our pork to a number of highly-rated restaurants in and around the Portland area.  Internship description You will have the opportunity to work hands on everyday in order to create the healthiest and happiest creatures, food, people, and community you possibly can. Intern responsibilities include: feeding and watering a wide variety of livestock, building paddocks in the woods, working in our retail farm market, harvesting chickens on-farm, and working events to strengthen the farm's relationship with the surrounding community.  Compensation this position is : stipend / non-monetary compensation
