Company description The Full Farm CSA is a program started here at Deck Family Farm and has steadily growing over the last four years. Our mission is to provide our local community with high quality, nutrient dense food from local farms all year long.

We partner with 7+ local farms and businesses to provide our members with a full diet offering. Our members make a monthly contribution that they then use to make weekly orders via our online store. Each week members have access to Pasture Raised meat, milk, and eggs, Organic produce, grains, and beans, fresh baked bread, and various other canned and baked goods.

Deck Family Farm is a 320-acre Certified Organic farm located in Western Willamette Valley. Deck is a diversified operation with the current focus on pasture raised meats, raw dairy & eggs, fruit, nut, and vegetables. Deck Family farm stands on the principles of Regenerative Agriculture, Sustainability in all forms; energetic, environmental, and financial. Practices currently employed include riparian exclusion and restoration, management intensive grazing, humane animal handling, re-forestation, nutrient management, and ethical business practice & transparency.

Deck is a family & community-oriented farm with an open gate; policy, meaning the farm is open to visitors any day but Sunday. We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our team to help with packing and distributing local farm products.

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about providing high quality, local food to their community. You are detail oriented, self-directed, and able to handle moderate-to-heavy lifting (30-50lbs).

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering grocery boxes to Eugene, Corvallis, and Springfield.
• Facilitating product pick up from local farms.
• Helping with box pack-out.
• Answering emails and phone calls.
• Assisting in general administrative and other tasks as needed.
• Potentially managing a market garden, doe.

 

Requirements:

• Excellent driving record.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• Able to take direction and execute effectively.
• Self-directed.

 

Bonus:

• Familiarity with Excel and Quickbooks.
• Experience with leading a team.
• Experience with market gardening.

 

Hours: 20-30 hrs to start, with the option for full-time if preferred.

This is a year-round position, with some schedule flexibility. You must be available to work on Thursday (preferred), Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
