We are looking for a curious, optimistic and passionate sales associate to join our hardworking team and growing business.
The position desires an interested level of knowledge surrounding wine, cider, and spirits with an emphasis on natural, organic, and biodynamic. If you have the will, we can teach you the ropes. At this time, we are not allowing walk-ins to our store as we want to keep our staff and community as safe as possible. The role is physical and demands a bit of grit as it requires stocking, lifting, delivering and packing online and local orders. The labor is repetitive yet meditative.
Preferred days could be one of the following: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday...12-20 hours per week depending on our needs and yours.
Once life is back to normal and the shop is back in full swing, you will have access to all trade tastings in the store with our suppliers and in NYC. A generous employee discount on wine is offered and wine education subsidies are offered for the right candidate.
This is a perfect part-time position that could give you a foot into this unique and enriching industry.
Compensation
this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr
