Company description We are a small, 1.3 acre, no-till organic vegetable farm,. The farm is gorgeous and at its center is a large 100+ year old barn which we have just fully renovated and put in a commercial kitchen. We are looking for a full time chef to take the creative lead for takeout wood fired pizza  utilizing vegetables from the farm.

The chef would be utilizing what is grown on the farm and surrounding Catskills.  Anything else will be sourced locally when available.

If possible, we hope to move to sit down service and possibly dinners.

Other responsibilities include value added food from farm vegetables for sale at our market, managing vegetable pickup in our barn, customer communication, and food producer/styler role for videos being shot at the farm this spring.

Start Date - Mid May
Can be Summer Only - From May through September
or Full Time - Pizza and Value-add product through winter

Weekly Schedule: Thursday to Sunday with periodic Mondays or Wednesdays for video shoots. Scheduled ahead of time.

Salary : $55,000
MUST BE LOCAL.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the owners to create interesting and exciting menu.
• Create value added farm food, bake bread, and create storage items during downtime.
• Manage the kitchen, food costs and ordering

We are looking for someone who is creative, and wishes to work with fire and primarily local ingredients to create the most incredible food experiences in the Catskills.
