We are looking for a enthusiastic Baker or Pastry chef to join our team who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail and enthusiasm for learning how to make some beautiful pastries and breads.
Responsibilities include:
- Mixing Pastry Products: Batters, Frosting, Cookies, Quiche, Pie Dough, etc.
- Scaling, Shaping and Baking Loaf Breads
- Baking and Packaging Cookies; Light prep work (Chopping kale, etc); Croissant Training
- Maintaining an immaculate work space which includes proper cleaning of equipment, cleaning as you go, and cleaning up at the end of your shift.
- The opportunity to rotate with the other bakers is available if desire, speed and skill are present.
Hours: 4 Days; start time between 5am-7am; more hours available in the Spring/Summer
The ideal candidate has:
- Enthusiasm and a Positive Attitude
- 2 years+ Professional Pastry/Baking Experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong Organizational/Time Management Skills
- Strong Cleanliness and Work Ethic
- Ability to Lift 50# bags of flour multiple times and Stand for 8 hours
- At least 18 Years of Age with Reliable Transportation
