We will consider both full time and part time candidates. We expect you to have at least 1 year meaningful and relevant job experience. This position is for a Baker and Counter Server which is a unique position involving serving customers, baking and light food preparation.
Requirements:
-ability to carry 50 lb up stairs
-knowledge of food safety best practices is extremely crucial given the current climate
-food handler's certificate (or ability to obtain one quickly)
-ability to work efficiently under pressure and to work late nights without losing steam.
-availability on nights and/or weekends AND on holidays
-ability to work flexibly as part of a team
-ability to handle feedback constructively
Responsibilities include:
-baking delicious pies, biscuits, etc! We'll teach you how.
-engaging, informing and serving customers at the front counter
-expediting and troubleshooting a high volume of delivery/take-out orders
-clear communication with coworkers and management
-cleaning tasks such as disinfecting surfaces, dishwashing, vacuuming, and mopping
-espresso experience a big plus
-using a POS system (Square) to handle payment
Hours and pay:
-FT positions consists of five shifts with two consecutive days off
-You will be expected to work at least one weekend day whether full or part time.
-$18/hour plus tips when working FOH. FOH wage is higher through the crisis. The wage for any BOH work will hold at $18/hr long term.
