We are growing! Nettle Meadow Farm and Cheese Company is looking for a cheesemaking assistant for our cheese plant in Thurman, New York. We need help wrapping, packing, shifting, turning, pouring, flipping and boxing all the cheese and cleaning equipment. This is great entry to mid-level position to learn everything about the world of cheesemaking at Nettle Meadow. Daytime shifts and year-round work with $13 per hour training wage and pay raises dependent on proficiency and knowledge. You will have the opportunity to work with a great group of people and really expand your knowledge of the art of cheesemaking while working with some great cheesemakers.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and a strong back able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly at times are required.
