Please check out our instagram + our website for established aesthetic. Job description We are looking for an experienced pastry cook to help us grow and build our pastry department back up. A sampling of our day to day tasks include:
  • Executing AM bake off for cafe counter
  • Making + baking cakes, loaves, bundts, cookies, bars, scones, biscuits, etc.
  • Measuring out ingredients for recipes
  • Scooping cookie dough
  • Breaking down produce
  • Receiving, checking, and putting away orders

The right candidate will:
  • Have previous professional pastry experience
  • Work independently without supervision (this is a must!)
  • Follow directions well
  • Check in and ask questions as needed
  • Execute Poppy's aesthetic and confirm with Executive Pastry Chef
  • Work cleanly + quickly
  • Work as a team player
Compensation this position is : hourly, $15-20/hr Application instructions
