In 2015, four farmers on the New Hampshire Seacoast decided to pool resources to deliver their vegetables to local restaurants and institutions … and so Three River Farmers Alliance was born. 

Starting in the back of a station wagon, the group delivered to a handful of restaurants.  Then demand increased, and the team purchased their first refrigerated box truck.  Realizing that this new platform could be an asset to other farmers, Three River expanded to become a distribution network for other farmers and food producers in the area.  With the onset of COVID-19 in early 2020, Three River adapted again, creating a direct-to-consumer home delivery service from scratch in the span of two weeks.

What not so long ago was a station wagon is now a fleet of five refrigerated box trucks, more than 20 staff and 50+ farms and food producers working together to supply homes, restaurants, stores and other institutions in the Greater Seacoast region, as well as Southern Maine and the North Shore of Massachusetts. Since Three River has adapted to Covid-19 it has raised over $50,000 for food donation programs. We are truly grateful for our local farmers and community.

Job description A pack line team member assists with packing individual customized customer orders using product from local farmers and producers. They will ensure the highest quality food is provided to our customers and that each order is filled accurately. All of our food is packed with just as much care and pride as our vendors take in producing it. Currently we either pack out or bag product five days a week (Tuesday-Saturday starting at 8am). This job requires attention to detail, reliability, ability to carry up to 40 lbs and standing for up to 6 hours at a time.
