Illuminate Food is committed to building a stronger local food system through repairing our relationship with our food and those who produce it. Our central product offering is a farm box that we pack and deliver to our local community in Northern New Jersey. We use a CSA model and work with local producers to offer a diverse range of seasonal produce, dairy, eggs, and baked goods to our customers each week.

Illuminate Food is seeking an individual who is interested in helping us in our mission. We are looking for a responsible and organized individual to help us deliver farm boxes to our customers. This person will accurately and efficiently deliver orders to client homes (primarily in Montclair, South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, and Chatham) each Wednesday with accuracy and efficiency, while maintaining product quality. Since the individual will regularly interact with our customers, strong communication skills as well as attention to all existing COVID safety protocols are vital. 
 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license
• Access to SUV or van to use for deliveries
• Attention to detail, time management skills
• Cell phone (GPS, text messaging, and phone calls all used for this position)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Strong communication skills

SCHEDULE

We deliver on Wednesdays and the ideal candidate would be available between 11am and 4pm.
