Company description Tivoli General has been providing the residents of Tivoli with high quality groceries and necessities in the walkable center of the village since Kazio and Natalie Sosnowski opened its doors in 2015. Though it was originally just a small part of our offerings, our bread program has grown exponentially due to popular demand: we now bake fresh bread for our sandwich menu, retail sale and wholesale distribution 6 days a week.  Job description This is a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job while getting to work with many different aspects of our small but rapidly growing bakery. Baking experience is not required, but prior experience working in a professional kitchen is strongly preferred.

Daily responsibilities may include:
weighing and mixing
maintaining ingredient inventory
maintaining a clean and safe facility
baking cookies and pastries for retail sale
delivering product to wholesale customers


In addition to baking responsibilities, this role will also support our prepared food program with prep, packaging, cleaning etc, as time allows.

Candidate must be detail oriented and reliable with a passion for baking and must share our high standards for the final product.

Candidate must be willing to work mornings and weekends, but this is not a position requiring overnight or early AM hours. Workdays will likely start between 9 and 11 am and end by early evening. We are currently seeking a  3 to 4 day a week commitment, but the right candidate could easily make this into a full time position if their skills allow.
