Job description

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. Your primary goal will be to fuse relationships and garner shelf space in local groceries and restaurants.

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects throughout the southeast. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

This job qualifies for our company healthcare, dental and vision plans as well as 401k retirement matching. The base pay is hourly between $12-15 an hour and includes some commission.

 

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using unique selling points promote products to existing and prospective customers
  • Work with existing/potential customers to meet their needs of product and service
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and emails
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and ownership
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Devise and implement marketing and sales strategy
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
  • Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business / Marketing / PR or Psychology
  • 1+ years' of sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, CRMs and sales applications
