We are looking for a social media manager to grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our brand. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

You will be responsible for creating original text, photo and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. We expect our social media manager to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about food and social media and wants to work for a company that cares for its people and offers opportunities for growth. This position is located in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Administer social media accounts
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Initiate, plan and oversee all campaigns, including community giveaways and brand partnerships
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media and marketing


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working as a social media manager
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent photo and video skills
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of different networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and their best practices.
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design and branding
  • Experience working in HubSpot
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Marketing and/or PR experience a plus!
