We are a small local wine shop looking for a hard-working individual to take on the role of Sales Associate/Shipping Clerk. They would be responsible for working with customers and helping them make informed decisions, answering questions about our product (primarily wine and liquor), and doing everything they can to ensure a positive experience for our customers. We also do shipping out of this location and will need a candidate who has worked in shipping/ecommerce before and has knowledge of UPS/FedEx/USPS. The ideal candidate would have experience in the retail alcoholic beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive customer interaction
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases, familiarity with Vend POS a plus
• Must be able to Z-out and balance register at end of shift
• Maintain inventory levels on all goods sold in store plus supplies
• Package alcohol orders from associated gift basket store for UPS pick-up
• Must be present for daily UPS pick-up and ensure that all packages ship daily
• Receive deliveries of alcohol
