A passionate plant lover with extensive knowledge of edible and medicinal plants and hands-on home gardening. You are well organized, self-motivated and have experience in administrative and operational systems. You can improvise like an actor and problem-solve like Mcgyver. Your creativity and marketing skills shine like army shoes and your writing has a unique voice. You have peerless people skills, and know how to manage and nurture a much-loved, hard working team. Job Description:
Managing purchases, receiving and data upload of plant inventory, soil products and nursery supplies.
Scheduling and managing our hard working team. And running Payroll for them.
Overseeing retail display excellence and signage inside the nursery. 
Social media content management and development of photo and design archives.
Writing and publishing the weekly news letter and creating promotional mailers.
Managing events, workshops and classes at the nursery (post Co-vid, of course).
Other stuff as needed. Lots of watering. Dreaming big.

Candidate Requirements
A minimum of 2 years managerial experience in service based business (hospitality, food service, nursery, farming)
Extensive knowledge of food and medicine plants (via either formal or informal education)
Experience in gardening/farming in Southern California.
Can work in the USA legally.
Weekend and weekday availability.
Ability to lift 40+ lbs (pots, soil, fertilizer, tools can be heavy).
Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Application instructions
