All Together Now is an all-day eatery, wine shop, and cheese counter in the Ukrainian Village. We're all about good people sharing good food and drink, but that looks a little different during these Covid days. We're not open for indoor dining and have no plans to change that any time soon. However, we continue to bring our tasty foods and thoughtful selection of natural wine, cheese and charcuterie, and other treats to our guests for takeaway. The safety of our team and guests will continue to be top of mind as we navigate the ever-changing waters of the next several months. That said, we all still need (safe) distraction, fun, treats, slivers of normalcy, and connection. Enter the All Together Now team!
Job description
Our front of house team has their hands in a bit of everything. As a member of this crew, your day will include:
- Efficiently managing the ways our guests engage with us (online ordering, phone calls, in-store shopping) while working independently and establishing priorities.
- Preparing and packing orders for cheese, charcuterie, wine, made-to-order food, and other grocery items.
- Selling cheese, wine, charcuterie, and the rest of our treats to guests.
- Building daily cheese boards, working with guests on custom boards, maintaining the cheese case, and using the meat slicer.
- Packing out housemade and bulk items to maintain par levels.
Our ideal candidate is all of the usual things (punctual, passionate, hardworking, quick learner) plus the below.
- Proficiency in wine or cheese is awesome but not required if you've got the hustle and inclination to learn.
- An empathetic, kind, respectful approach to customer service and coworker interactions is an absolute must.
- Things are apt to change based on shifts in external circumstances. Flexibility and enthusiasm for new ideas and initiatives is crucial.
