Our cafe in Cobble Hill is looking for an outgoing, responsible, experienced barista to join our team.

We are currently hiring an individual for a part time position (3 shifts, ~15-18 hrs/week) with the ambition to grow and take initiative within the workplace.

This cafe draws a customer base from the Cobble Hill neighborhood, and so the ability to connect with regulars and provide great customer service is a must.We are looking for someone with a pleasant, friendly, outgoing personality.

Because shifts are often worked independently, applicants must have the following skills:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Providing stellar customer service that makes customers want to return to our café
-Creating beautiful looking and delicious tasting hot & cold coffee drinks
-Learning about all of our housemade baked goods and serving them properly
-Maintaining and cleaning the equipment and our shop
-Assisting customers with taking orders for holidays and events
-Ordering of supplies and taking of inventory
-Regular communication to the kitchen, as well as management, regarding customer feedback, requests, sales trends, etc...
-Other prep work related to the position (ie: measuring coffee, filling in product, etc...)

**All employees must be willing and able to follow all OGC Covid related safety policies, including wearing a mask at all times.

***At least 1 year previous barista or hospitality experience required

Pay: $15.00 - $15.25 per hour
