We are a wholesale bread producer and bakery startup in the Hamptons and Calverton, New York. We sell our bread to high-end restaurants, farms and grocery stores in the Hamptons (East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Montauk, etc.). We are quickly expanding our production throughout the East End and beyond.
Hampton Sourdough focuses on slow food and simple ingredients. We work directly with local farmers as well as develop products specifically for world-renowned chefs and restaurants (Jean-Georges and Carbone Hamptons). We have large growth aspirations, and are seeking enthusiastic members to join our growing team.

Hampton Sourdough is looking for a Baker, an experienced or semi-experienced baker or experienced industry professional to join our growing team of bakers. If you do not have any prior relevant experience, we are looking for someone who is willing and able to learn on the job.
We are looking for someone to help with daily dough shaping and mixing, managing the ovens and bakery production, packaging the bread, and other related tasks.
Our head baker worked for Dominique Ansel and developed the sourdough program for Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group! This is a great opportunity to learn the craft.
Desired:
- Bakery experience
- Kitchen experience
Required:
- Lift a 50 lbs bag of flour (as we are constantly moving flour around the kitchen).
- Able to work on your feet for the shift.
- Currently have transportation access to the Long Island area.
- Team player!
We are looking for someone to work 3-6 days per week, including weekend shifts. We are baking bread 7 days a week, so let us know what works with your schedule.
