Summary
The QA Data Entry Specialist is a member of the Quality Assurance Team and is responsible for managing the processes involved with new customer/product set-up. These processes most frequently include completing and returning documentation, paperwork and forms; entering technical information into online portals; and compiling information needed for bids on potential business. The role regularly monitors online portals and updates them as needed based on customer requests. They also work with sales/customers to update information when changes to products occur after the set-up is complete.
Essential Functions
Customer & Sales Team Support
- Completes detailed customer forms and online portals using technical product specifications
- Troubleshoots/works with customers and service providers to ensure they are aware of and addressing technical issues with the portals
- Collaborates with appropriate FOODMatch teams to collect information needed to satisfy customer requests/set-up processes
- Maintains schedule of customer requests ensuring all deadlines are met
- Assists with requests for product specifications or other technical information
- Assists with responses to general customer questions
Customer Portal Product Maintenance
- Respond to both internal and external requests for GTIN data and/or data synchronization
- Facilitate, communicate and manage the continuous product Audit process and be accountable for system information and product data accuracy, for FOODMatch Brands and its associated GLNs. Activities include: Perform/oversee Data Accuracy Item Audits following GS1’s global standards. Manage and update changes as they occur
- Manage and track portal activity, work with Sales and customers to ensure non-active items are removed, billing is per contract and accurate
- Negotiate and track portal costs and resolve cost inaccuracies as needed
Quality Assurance Team Support
- Assists the QA Team with various projects
- Works with our production facilities to collect information requested by customers
Background Requirements
- Data entry experience

- Proficient typing and transcription skills
- Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Able to quickly adjust priorities and handle unexpected & time sensitive requests
- Thrives in a fast paced, high pressure environment
